ROAR / Development for Design & Marketing Agencies

Your Design.
Our Development.

Design-minded developers. Based in the USA. Working directly with you.

We build websites and applications for agencies that need reliable developers with a designer’s eye. Work directly with the developer responsible for your project, behind the scenes or alongside your team.

Developers who understand design

The Details Matter.
We Build Them In.

Design Sensitivity

We are developers and designers. Typography, spacing, interactions and responsive behavior are part of the brief. We discuss technical tradeoffs with you before changing the creative intent.

Direct Communication

Speak with the person building your project. Get technical answers directly, resolve questions together and spend less time passing messages between people.

Fast, Considered Delivery

Short communication paths and AI-assisted workflows help us develop efficiently. Clear milestones, hands-on review and testing keep the work focused on a dependable launch.

Agency collaborations / Selected work

Their Design.
Our Development.

Three museum websites developed by our team in Phoenix for VIVA, a design agency based in Milan. Phoenix development. Milan design. A collaboration across time zones.

“We’ve partnered with ROAR on dozens of websites. Their understanding of design makes them a natural extension of our team, and working directly with their developers keeps communication clear and projects moving. We trust them to bring our creative work to life.”

Your Creative Team. Our Technical Crew.

U.S.-Based.
Built In-House.

Your project is built by our U.S.-based developers. We don’t sell you a local team and quietly outsource the work overseas. You work directly with the people writing your code.

From the first technical conversation through launch, you work directly with the people responsible for the work.

Two ways to work together

Your Agency.
Your Way of Working.

Your Client. Your Relationship.

We respect your client relationships. NDA and non-solicitation terms can be agreed before work begins. We only contact your client with your agency’s approval and within the scope you authorize.

01 / Behind the scenes

White Label Development

Your name. Your client relationship. We provide the development, working discreetly as an extension of your team.

  • ROAR is not introduced to your client.
  • Your agency manages client communication.
  • We agree confidentiality and handoff arrangements upfront.
Discuss white label

02 / Alongside your team

Your Development Partner

You lead the design. We handle the technical delivery and, with your approval, work directly with your client so your team can focus on the creative work.

  • ROAR joins as your named technical partner.
  • Your developer handles technical conversations directly.
  • Only at your agency’s request, we can handle proposals, pricing negotiations and direct client billing.
  • Roles, scope, billing and client communication are agreed together.

From one task to the whole build

Development.
And Everything Around It.

Full Builds & Rebuilds

From a campaign landing page to a complete website or custom web application. Bring your designs, or involve us early to plan the technical approach.

Maintenance & Technical Support

Keep existing websites moving. We handle fixes, updates, troubleshooting and ongoing improvements, with scope and availability agreed together.

Migrations & Integrations

Move content, change platforms and connect business tools. We plan redirects, data transfer and testing around the systems your client already uses.

Security & Performance

Review updates, access, backups and performance. We identify priorities and agree the work needed to make the site more reliable.

A clear path to delivery

Less Back-and-Forth.
More Progress.

01 / Scope

Bring Us In Early

Share the brief, designs or existing site. We review feasibility, dependencies and priorities, then agree scope, timing and the collaboration model.

Stay Close to the Work

Work directly with your developer, review progress at agreed milestones and resolve questions before they become surprises.

03 / Launch & Support

Plan Beyond Delivery

Review the build, coordinate launch and agree the handoff of code, access and documentation. Arrange ongoing support around your client’s needs.

Scope, ownership & support

Clear Commitments.
From Day One.

Accessibility

We define accessibility requirements and checks in the project scope, including the agreed WCAG version and conformance level. Responsibilities for design, content, development and testing are established together before work begins.

Code Ownership

Ownership and transfer of custom code are defined in the agreement, alongside the handoff of repositories, access and documentation. Third-party software, plugins and other licensed assets remain subject to their own licenses.

Post-Launch Support

We agree the post-launch period and process for correcting defects against the approved scope before launch. New features, changes and ongoing maintenance are scoped separately, so everyone knows what is covered.

Support Response Times

Support hours, issue priorities and first-response targets are agreed for your support plan. We distinguish an initial response from a resolution timeline, which depends on the issue and any third-party dependencies.

Before we begin

Agency Partnership Questions.

How do you price projects?

Fixed price, agreed before development begins. No two projects are alike: a landing page can be a simple layout or a fully animated experience, so we price the work, not the format. Complexity of interactions, integrations, CMS structure and number of templates all shape the scope. You’re paying for more than 15 years of hands-on development experience, technical judgment and a finished product, not hours on a timesheet. AI helps us work faster; our experience tells us what to build and how to build it well. Share your brief, designs or project requirements. We’ll review what you have, clarify any open questions and put together a scoped estimate. If the scope changes, we agree on the additional cost before doing the work, so you stay in control of your budget and margin.

How do you protect our client relationships?

Your client relationship stays yours. NDA and non-solicitation terms can be agreed before work begins. We only contact your client with your agency’s approval and within the scope you authorize. Direct proposals, pricing discussions and billing are optional and happen only at your agency’s request.

Can you handle pricing and billing directly with our client?

Yes, but only at your agency’s request and with your approval. ROAR can handle the development proposal, negotiate pricing, agree the scope and payment terms, and invoice your client directly. Your agency remains responsible for design, while we manage the agreed development work and its commercial arrangements. We confirm responsibilities and communication with you before involving the client.

Where is your development team based?

ROAR and all our developers are based in the United States. Your project is developed by our U.S.-based team, not passed to an offshore subcontractor. You communicate directly with the people doing the work.

Can you work entirely white label?

Yes. ROAR can work behind the scenes under your agency’s name, without being introduced to your client. We agree communication, confidentiality and delivery arrangements before work starts.

Can you speak directly with our client?

Yes. If you prefer an open partnership, we can handle technical conversations with your client as your web development partner. Your agency keeps creative direction; we take responsibility for the agreed development scope.

Who will we work with?

You communicate directly with the developer responsible for your project. No project manager relaying technical questions back and forth. We agree milestones and keep you informed as the work progresses.

Do you take on small projects or existing websites?

Yes. A landing page, a targeted fix, a migration or ongoing maintenance can be a project in its own right. For larger websites and applications, we define scope, dependencies and delivery stages together.

How quickly can you deliver?

Timing depends on the scope, design readiness, integrations and review process. Direct communication and AI-assisted workflows help us move quickly, with human review and testing before delivery. We agree a realistic schedule before starting.

Can you help before the design is finished?

Yes. Bring us into scoping to discuss feasibility, CMS structure, integrations and interactions. Early technical input helps your team design with a clear understanding of the build.
